The Vision

Better Biblos is an organization dedicated to improving the reading experience of some of the most meaningful texts ever written by taking advantage of state of the art natural language processing (NLP). Our goals are ambitious, but a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

We want to be the go to platform to complement the journey one undergoes when reading consequential texts, with historical, thematic, and narrative context provided with minimum user effort.

We also want you to develop and understand useful skills along the way, which is why we will be blogging updates and details of our work, so you can learn more about us and machine learning.

The Team

Ryan Dominguez founded Better Biblos in 2022 following his graduate studies at University of Chicago. While there he focused his curriculum and capstone thesis project on applications of topic modeling and NLP to improving learning outcomes, culminating in his team’s capstone thesis for client HMH. His areas of experience include philosophy, consulting, and data science.
